<p>A healthy diet would result to a healthy life.  Therefore, make yours a healthy one by eating the right food and by exercising regularly.  Here are tactics to reduce your high cholesterol level and to reduce your risk of dying:</p>
<ul>
<li>Eat vegetables, fruits, whole grains and legumes- I know that eating vegetables are not for everyone (including me) but one day you will be surprised on how eating vegetables could do wonders inside your body.  This maybe one of the most powerful strategies in fighting heart disease.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Choose fat calories wisely- use plant sterols as a dietary option to help lower bad LDL cholesterol.  Limit total fat grams.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Eat lean protein foods- chicken, fish and vegetables proteins are better than red meats, which contain more saturated fat and cholesterol. <a href="http://www.completedietinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/comp.jpg"><img class="wp-image-570 alignleft" title="comp" src="http://www.completedietinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/comp-150x145.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="145" /></a></li>

<li>Do not skip meals- sometimes, skipping meals could lead to overeating.  Three balanced meals a day maybe a better suggestion or six mini-meals for those who are not easily tempted to overeat every time they are exposed to food.</li>
</ul>
<p>High cholesterol can be inherited, but is often preventable or treatable.  A regular exercise, healthy diet and sometimes medication can reduce your cholesterol level.  It is never too late to start your diet (unless you are dead).  By having a good attitude towards life and by paying attention to what you eat can reduce your risk for heart disease and stroke.  So improve your life by living right.</p>

Food is one of the most basic things that we need every day, without it we would die but too much of it would result to binge eating disorder.<br />
Binge eating disorder is a patterned disordered eating which consists of episodes of uncontrollable eating. It has many symptoms like:<br />
• Inability to stop or control what you are eating<br />
• Hiding food in secrecy<br />
• Eating normally around others but gorging when you are alone<br />

<p>There are also causes:<br />
• Depression- as many as half of all people with this disorder are depressed or have been depressed in the past.<br />
• Dieting- some people binge after skipping meals, not enough food each day, or avoiding certain kinds of food.<br />
• Emotional Problems- when you are sad, angry, bored, worried or stressed, you tend to eat.<br />
• Genes- the disorder often occurs in several members of the family.</p>
<p>And there are also consequences:<br />
• Type 2 diabetes<br />
• High blood pressure<br />
• Heart disease<br />
• Cancer<br />
• High Cholesterol<br />
• Anxiety and Depression<br />
You can overcome this type of disorder by:<br />
• Managing stress- Find alternative ways to handle stress and boredom without using food.<br />
• Avoid Temptation- Remove all tempting foods in your fridge and let someone hide them.<br />
• Stop Dieting- Dieting means to lessen the food your eating, so stop starving yourself and eat right.<br />
• Exercise- not only good for the body but for the mind as well.<br />
• Get Support- ask your family and friends to support you in overcoming this disorder.<br />
• Listen to your Body- if you ate recently and don&#8217;t have a rumbling stomach then your body probably does not want food at this time.<br />
• Get enough sleep- if you are tired, you tend to eat to boost your energy. Sleep instead.</p>
<p>I know it is hard to sustain this kind of living but you have to in order for you to get over this. With the proper ways in dealing, I am pretty sure that you will pass this with flying colors.</p>

<p>Well, as we all know, we all need cholesterol to survive, it has many functions that is essential to human body.  But be careful because too much of it could damage you arteries and give you heart problems and same goes if your cholesterol level is low.</p>

<p>The Different Symptoms of ADHD</p>
<p>It is normal for children to rarely forget their homework, act without thinking, and daydream during class or get fidgety at the dinner table.  But also note that inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity are also symptoms of ADHD.  Observe your children if they have these symptoms and if they do have, consult this to the nearest doctor as soon as possible.</p>
<p>ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is characterized by the co-existence of attention problems and hyperactivity.  It has three subtypes: <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive</span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Predominantly Inattentive</span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Combined Hyperactive-impulsive Inattentive</span>.  And most kids have combined hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive.</p>
<p>There are different symptoms of ADHD:</p>
<ol>
<li>The child is often forgetful in daily activities.</li>
<li>The child often fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work or other activities.</li>

Ask yourself this question, how would you feel if you were in their situation right now? You know, it is already hard on their part and what you are doing is just making them feel a lot worse.  So, just cut them some slack and respect them.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m not saying that you should be a  vegetarian just   lessen your eating of fatty, high cholesterol foods.</p>
<p>High cholesterol is one of the components of vessel-clogging plaque.  It can incorporate calcium and other substances that make plaque hard and brittle.</p>
<p>The brittle plaque could also break off, travel through the blood  stream  and   form  a clot anywhere in the body.</p>
<p>So here is the list of high cholesterol foods that you should avoid:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>EGGS</strong>- we always have eggs for breakfast but did you know that the yolk itself contains tons of cholesterol.  Try substituting it with whole-grain cereals and fruits.</li>
<li><strong>FASTFOODS</strong>- I guess I don&#8217;t have to tell you how fast food could be bad for you.  You should avoid fast food chains once in a while.</li>
<li><strong>MACARONI AND CHEESE</strong>- the typical macaroni-and-cheese ingredients- whole milk, butter and cheese are loaded with saturated fats and cholesterol.</li>
<li><strong>ICE CREAM</strong>- a single cup of ice cream has more fat than a hamburger and more cholesterol than 10 glazed doughnut.  Substitute it with a fresh cup of fruits instead.</li>
<li><strong>MUFFIN</strong>- muffins that you can buy or bake at home with extra ingredients has a lot of cholesterols.  You can substitute that by buying low-fat bran muffin made with whole-wheat.</li>
<li><strong>RIB-EYE STEAK</strong>- a 4-ounce rib-eye steak takes up a big chunk of your recommended daily intake for saturated fat and cholesterol.</li>
<li><strong>SEAFOODS</strong>- some seafood like lobsters and shrimps are loaded with high cholesterols.</li>
</ul>
<p>Three ounces of lobster contains 61 mg of cholesterol- and that&#8217;s without the dip (butter).</p>
<p>If you really want to eat lobsters or shrimps then broil it and not fry.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>CHICKEN</strong>- although chicken is considered to be a low-fat meat choice, how you cook it makes a difference. Keeping the skin on poultry or frying can turn it into a high-cholesterol food</li>
<li><strong>LIVER</strong>- it&#8217;s a good thing I don&#8217;t like liver because most cholesterols are stored in the liver.  Most concentrated levels of cholesterols in animal meats are found in organ meats like the liver.</li>
<li><strong>JUNKFOODS</strong>- the trans fats of French fries, onion rings, chips and crackers can turn into a high-cholesterol food.</li>
</ul>

<p>I know It&#8217;s hard to resist temptations but as what the saying goes, &#8220;what you eat is what you are&#8221; so watch what you are eating.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that the amount you eat, as a double portion will also double the cholesterol.</p>
