- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. non-fat dry milk
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. (12 oz.) pkg. Reese peanut butter chips
- 1/2 c. raisins
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in cocoa and milk, wheat germ, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat until ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Fold in peanut butter chips and raisins and spread mixture evenly in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Cool and cut into bars. Makes 18 bars
